Pantry Suite is committed to providing an accessible experience to every visitor and every operator. This statement summarizes the conformance target, known limitations, and how to report an accessibility issue.

1. Conformance target

The landing surface targets WCAG 2.2, Level AA. Operator-facing administrative interfaces inherit WordPress core accessibility, which is maintained to the same target.

2. What is in place

Semantic HTML structure (<header>, <main>, <footer>, <nav>, <section> with aria-labelledby).
Skip-to-content link, focus-visible outlines, keyboard-navigable controls.
ARIA attributes on the dashboard view toggle (aria-pressed, arrow-key navigation).
Reduced-motion path: prefers-reduced-motion: reduce short-circuits all transitions, parallax, and counter animations.
Color contrast: foreground/background pairs meet 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large display type.
All product images carry descriptive alt attributes.
Outbound links explicitly announce their target via aria-label.
Form fields and details/summary widgets render their label visibly without colour-only cues.

3. Known limitations

The internal dashboard mockup is a visual mock — it does not surface live build state and is excluded from operator-critical paths.
The hero plate is decorative; meaningful content is available in the surrounding heading and lede.
Third-party content surfaced from the Etsy Open API (titles, descriptions) is presented as the operator authored it; we do not modify their copy to enforce reading-level targets.

4. Compatibility

The site is tested in current versions of Chromium, Firefox, and Safari, with VoiceOver and NVDA on a 1366×900 viewport, plus mobile Safari at 390×844. Older browser versions may render with degraded motion only.

5. Reporting an issue
